How do we book a party?

When will normal 'face-to-face' packages resume?

At present, we are not booking or performing in person at parties. With the current restrictions, we do not feel it's the right time to provide these services. However, we do have our online packages available and we will be providing (socially-distanced) elf doorstep visits this Christmas!

When the COVID-19 situation becomes a little clearer and restrictions are eased, we will resume our normal packages.

Do you have parties suitable for all the family?

Yes. We are expanding our character range within the next year to include Pirates, Princes and Superheroes  Regardless of the theme, children of all ages attend our parties, and our performers adapt certain elements, such as the party games and activities, to make sure everyone enjoys themselves!

Furthermore, we are able to attend adult birthdays, engagement/wedding parties, leaving parties and charity events. Please specify when you contact us the purpose of your party/event and we will adapt accordingly!

How many guests can attend a party?

There is no minimum. However, there is maximum of 15 guests per performer. Therefore, if you wish to invite more, a second entertainer will be required.

Where can I host my party?

The location of the party/event is entirely up to you. We recommend halls, studios and conference rooms in hotels, however we are also able to visit your house. The team at Belle of the Ball Entertainment are here to help, so if you need advice, we can offer suggestions if we know the location well.

Which areas do you cover?

We cover 10 miles from Torquay. However, we are more than happy to attend further afield parties for an additional cost of 40p per mile thereafter the 10 miles.

How far in advance should I book my party?

It is important to book your party as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.

Will I be able to speak to our party entertainer before the party date?

Yes. Your entertainer/a team member will call you 5-7 days before the party to go through any details, provide any extra information and answer any questions you may have. On the day of the party, your entertainer will arrive 10-15 minutes before the party is due to commence. In the event of unforeseen circumstances (traffic etc), we will call you to let you know of any delays which may make us slightly late. If we do arrive slightly behind schedule, we will of course ensure you have your full allocated duration.

Do your entertainers require car parking at the venue?

As our entertainers will bring lots of props etc, it is necessary to have a designated parking space within close proximity to the party venue, in order for us unload safely etc.

Are your performers licensed to work with children?

Yes, all of our performers and staff are DBS checked with the correct public liability insurance. However, we do stipulate a parent/guardian is present at all times for all parties/online video calls etc.

I have special requests, who should I speak with?

During your first initial e-mail/telephone call with Belle of the Ball Entertainment, please mention any special requirements you may have. If you think of anymore before the party date, please let us know at least 2 weeks before to ensure we have everything sorted for your party. Prices may vary. Special requests include individually designed birthday cakes, invitations, party bags, decorations etc.
