Terms & Conditions

Belle of the Ball Entertainment reserves the right to change or modify any of the terms and conditions contained in the Terms and Conditions from time to time at any time, without notice, and in its sole discretion. If Belle of the Ball Entertainment decides to change these Terms and Conditions, Belle of the Ball Entertainment will post a new version on the site and update the date set forth above. Any changes or modifications to these Terms and Conditions will be effective upon posting of the revisions. Your continued use of the sites following posting of any changes or modifications constitutes your acceptance of such changes or modifications and if you do not agree with these changes or modifications, you must immediately cancel all scheduled services with Belle of the Ball Entertainment and cease using the site. For this reason, you should frequently review these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable policies, including their dates, to understand the Terms and Conditions that apply to your use of the site and Belle of the Ball Entertainment services.

Waiver for Princess Party Packages, Princess Events, and Princess Activities

I (the “Client”), on behalf of myself, owners and the parent/legal guardian of the child, knowingly and freely assume all such risk, both known and unknown, including those that may arise out of the negligence of other participants; and, I, for myself and the parent/legal guardian of the child, and our respective heirs, assigns, administrators, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release and hold harmless, Belle of the Ball Entertainment, their affiliates, owners, shareholders, officers, members, agents, employees, other participants, and sponsoring agencies from and against any and all claims, injuries, liabilities or damages arising out of or related to our participation in any and all Belle of the Ball Entertainment activities, parties, and/or events.

I represent that I am the parent or legal guardian of the Child(ren) named in the booking form or I have obtained permission from the parent/legal guardian of the Child(ren) named on the booking form to execute this agreement on their behalf.
I acknowledge and understand that there are known and unknown risks associated with participation in Belle of the Ball Entertainment activities and events, which include but are not limited to: fractures, scrapes, cuts, bumps, allergic reaction, paralysis, or death
I, for myself and the Child(ren) named, willingly assume the risks associated with participation and accept that there are also risks that may arise due to other children and adults at the Belle of the Ball Entertainment event or activity which I also willingly assume. In addition, if I observe any hazard during our participation, I will bring it to the attention of the Belle of the Ball Entertainment employee or official immediately.
I agree that the Child(ren) named, and I shall comply with all stated and customary terms, posted safety signs, rules, and verbal instructions as conditions for participation in any Belle of the Ball Entertainment event or activity.
I, for myself, the Child(ren) named, our heirs, assigns, representatives, party guests, and next of kin agree that Belle of the Ball Entertainment, is not responsible or liable for any accidents or damages, staining of skin, clothing or hair, allergic reaction due to face paint or any other Belle of the Ball Entertainment supplies.
I acknowledge and understand that Belle of the Ball Entertainment does not intend to violate any copyright laws, Belle of the Ball Entertainment characters are not name brand copyrighted characters. I acknowledge and understand that Belle of the Ball Entertainment characters are based on Fairy-tale Characters and that Belle of the Ball Entertainment does not represent any licensed character.
I agree that I will make best efforts to keep ambient noise levels low and to make distracting entertainment (including but not limited to bouncy castles) off-limits to children during the party/event.
I agree that there will be no costumed character entertainers from companies other than Belle of the Ballet Entertainment at the event without prior written consent from Belle of the Ball Entertainment.
I agree that any photographs or videos of the performer or any Belle of the Ball Entertainment property are for personal use only unless I receive written consent from Belle of the Ball Entertainment. I will not sell or give videos or photographs to competitors.
I agree that I will not charge a fee of any kind to photograph, interact with, or see the Belle of the Ball Entertainment event, party, or performer unless I obtain written permission from Belle of the Ball Entertainment.
I agree that I will abide by the Belle of the Ball Entertainment time frame agreed to in my booking or rescheduled booking. I will not disrupt a performer’s start time or delay a performer from leaving. If I decide during the event to have the performer stay for an additional half-hour, and that they are available, I will pay £60 for each additional 30 minutes and will be invoiced by Belle of the Ball Entertainment at a later date.
I agree that I will supervise in the same room as the performer at all times and handle any disruptive guest’s behaviour.
I agree that I will be responsible for any damage to costume (including but not limited to wigs, shoes, gowns, and accessories) caused by client or event attendees. I will avoid staining agents (including but not limited to foods and art supplies) before and during the performer’s time at the event.
I agree that I will notify Belle of the Ball Entertainment of any unusual traffic situations that may impact performer’s travel. I understand and acknowledge that failing to mention traffic conditions may result in tardiness. I agree that I will not hold Belle of the Ball Entertainment responsible for tardiness caused by traffic conditions or any other factors outside the control of Belle of the Ball Entertainment.
I understand and acknowledge that Belle of the Ball Entertainment reserves the right to change the performer for any reason including but not limited to performer illness, traveling or timing conflict, or performer no longer working with Belle of the Ball Entertainment.
I am not affiliated with a competitor of Belle of the Ball Entertainment (including but not limited to owner, employee, or contractor of a competitor). I am not acting on behalf of a Belle of the Ball Entertainment competitor and will not use the Belle of the Ball Entertainment performance or correspondence to give any information, video, or photographs to a Belle of the Ball Entertainment competitor.
I, for myself, the Child(ren) named, our heirs, assigns, representatives, party guests, and next of kin agree to hold harmless, release, waive and indemnify the owner of Belle of the Ball Entertainment their, parent, subsidiaries and affiliates, officers, and employees from any and all injuries, liabilities or damages from participation, except for those arising from the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of Belle of the Ball Entertainment.
I am of physical ability to participate and am legally competent to understand and complete this agreement. I hereby execute this agreement without coercion.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of this Agreement shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement, which shall remain in full force and effect.

COVID-19

At present, we have temporarily stopped all face-to-face parties indoors and outdoors due to Government restrictions. The only 'in person' package we will be offering this year will be our 'Elf Express - Santa mail delivery' doorstep visits (our performer will remain on the doorstep with social distancing in place).

If any restrictions are lifted, we will be re-launching our normal party packages.

In the meantime, please take a look at our 'online packages & video messages' and 'Christmas' tabs which provide you with the alternative packages we have on offer during these unprecedented times.

Online Packages & Video Messages

All of our regular terms and conditions apply to our online packages and video messages.

We do also require a parent/guardian to be present at all times during our online packages and online messages.

Belle of the Ball Entertainment cannot be responsible for any disruption to the live video quality (lagging etc).

Booking Policy

Your booking with Belle of the Ball Entertainment will be confirmed once you have paid the stated deposit. If you decide to pay the full amount upfront, you will receive a 5% discount. You will receive a booking confirmation and invoice via e-mail.

No booking is secure without completion of our booking form and the payment of a deposit.

The full amount will be required at least 1 week before the date of your party.

Please note, your booking deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellation policy

We understand due to illness etc, you may need to cancel a booking. We can re-book your party within a 6-month period. We ask you to let us know of any cancellations at least 2 days before your party. Failing to do so will unfortunately result in the full amount of the party being charged.

Please note, if you have purchased any perishable extras and you are unable to use them, such as an individually designed birthday cake, we cannot provide refunds.

Should you need to change the date or time of your party at very short notice and we cannot fulfil the request, this will be counted as a cancellation and the fully amount will be payable.

In the unfortunate event Belle of the Ball Entertainment must cancel your party, we will endeavour to notify you as quickly as possible. You will be entitled to a party date rescheduling if any monies have already been paid. Unforeseen circumstances include bad weather (floods, snow etc.), public mourning days, changes of law, Government intervention etc.

The day of the party

Our entertainers will endeavour to arrive 10-15 minutes before the party is due to commence. We will require a parking space within close proximity to the party venue, in order to unload all the necessary equipment from our company car for your party. We will also require an electrical socket for our electrical equipment (E.G. bubble machines etc.)

Please ensure the party venue entrances/exits are clear to ensure the party runs smoothly.

If you do know of any planned events or road works in your area which may affect us getting to your part venue, please do let us know.

The use of make-up, face paint and temporary glitter tattoos

Belle of the Ball Entertainment cannot be held responsible for any harm caused when using make-up during our Princess Pamper Parties. We source our make-up, face paints and temporary glitter tattoos. from reputable and well-known brands. It is the responsibility of the client to inform us of any known allergies, diseases, contagious illnesses etc, of each guest attending the party.

If at the start of the party any guests are suffering from any contagious/non-contagious skin conditions (E.G chicken pox, measles, eczema, cold sores, impetigo etc), it is the responsibility of the client who made the party booking to notify us immediately.

The use of sweets, prizes and gifts

Our entertainers often supply sweets, prizes and/or gifts at our parties. It is the responsibility of the client to inform us of any known allergies, diseases, contagious illnesses etc, of each guest attending the party. If you do not wish for us to supply sweets, prizes and/or gifts. please notify us before your party so alternative arrangements can be established.

Safety

Your safety is paramount to the Belle of the Ball Entertainment and we will do our very best to keep every guest safe during the party.

In the unlikely event of an accident/injury, Belle of the Ball Entertainment cannot be held responsible. Adults/supervisors must be present at all times during the party and is responsible for overseeing general supervision of all party guests.

Please note, small items such as balloons/sweets etc, are not suitable for very young children and therefore supervision is required at all times.

Belle of the Ball Entertainment will not pass on any of your personal information or details to any 3rd party company unless advised to do so. Any information you provide us with will be stored for our purpose only. Before booking with Belle of the Ball Entertainment , we will require full details such as name, address and contact information (e-mail and telephone numbers).

After your party, we would kindly ask you to complete a survey (and if possible a short review) about your overall experience with Belle of the Ball Entertainment and the company's services.

Belle of the Ball Entertainment may contact you in the future via e-mail/post, regarding any relevant and current special offers for our parties. However, if you do not wish to receive this type of communication, please do let us know.

Belle of the Ball Entertainment complies with the UK data protection legislation.

Disclaimer

Belle of the Ball Entertainment is in no way associated, affiliated or connected with the Walt Disney Company or any other third party, company or partner. All our characters are based upon Fairy-tales and Folklore, such as those written by Hans Christian Anderson. Any resemblance between our characters and copyrighted characters is purely incidental. We do not wish to violate or infringe upon any copyright laws. Therefore, we can only accept bookings from customers who accept and understand this. Our costumes, characters, hairstyles and props are derived from our own imaginations and we DO NOT claim to be associated with any name branded or copyrighted character.

If you require a licensed, copyrighted character at your party/event, we encourage you to contact the company/copyright holders for your specific, desired character.

Mileage costs

There will be no additional costs for attending parties which are under 10 miles away from us. However, if a party/event is over 10 miles away from us, we charge 40p per extra mile.

Belle of the Ball Entertainment ("BOTBE") privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you when you use this website or via Facebook or similar. By submitting your information to BOTBE you agree to the terms and conditions as detailed in this Privacy Policy document. Any visitor to the Site may review the contents and information of all areas.

What information do we collect about you BOTBE collects data about individuals, usually within a business context. We only collect basic personal data about you. It does not include any special types of information. This can however include name, address, email, phone number, your son(s) / daughter(s) information and date of birth etc. Information is collected about you when you request us to contact you or make a booking for a party/event via our on-line booking forms.

BOTBE treats all data which identifies an individual as Personal Data. BOTBE acts as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us, this means we control what happens to the data in our possession. We need to know your basic personal data to provide you with information associated with your queries and services. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need.

Website usage information is collected using cookies via our Internet Service provider. Why do we need it? – In order to (a) fulfil our contractual commitments to you and communicate with you and (b) maintain our own records to comply with our legal obligations and (c) protect our own legitimate interests.

BOTBE will from time to time take website usage information to assist us in the ongoing development of the Site. This will not include information that can be used to identify any individual. Contacting BOTBE and/or completing booking forms deems acceptance that we may use your registered name and email address to inform you about other related services and products (e.g annual events etc).

All the personal data we hold is processed by us using paper booking forms or online booking forms. Data provided via the on-line contact form is internal and not stored anywhere else and all submitted data is sent to us securely via email. Our on-line contact form is provided by 'Wix Forms'.

BOTBE may also send marketing emails or contact you with details of other products or services we think may be of interest to you. Following consent for you to receive marketing emails, you have a right at any time to opt out from receiving our marketing emails. If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes please advise us in writing or via Facebook Messenger or email.

You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of your personal information held by us, please email. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate. In submitting the on-line contact form (or the downloadable pdf booking form), you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted the Terms & Conditions of BOTBE and the terms of this Privacy Statement.

Cookies are text files recorded by your browser onto your computer for the websites you are visiting. They act as a memory, where sites can store information about your visit in order to use it when you open the next page. Every site can only set or read their own cookies, and only when your browser allows it. Usually, browsers are set by default to allow cookies. This information is used to track visitor use of the website and to compile statistical reports on website activity. You can set your browser not to accept cookies and the above websites tell you how to remove cookies from your browser.

When you visit our website, we do not currently collect statistics concerning your visit, so no data is held by us in log files.
